GEOTrac's Mobile Data Terminal is a rugged touch-screen terminal designed from die cast aluminum and integrated with intelligence. This product is the ideal tool to ensure seamless communication between company personnel; adaptable to various situations this terminal features simple text messaging to advanced customized forms and reporting applications. In conjunction with GEOTrac Messenger, this terminal provides initiation for distress, two-way-text messaging, input for driver logs, and customized forms.

The MDT is linked to our ST2500 modem via a serial cable. Upon installation, the client can choose to have the MDT mounted in view of the driver or left un-mounted. When all contacts, messages and options are programmed, the MDT's set-up capabilities can be locked to ensure the operator doesn't change settings. To avoid the need of dispatching a service technician, the GEOTrac MDT can be reprogrammed remotely as new capabilities are implemented.

This Satellite Modem is a highly versatile smart modem, which is the core transmitter of data for all of our peripheral devices. This modem records location by latitude and longitude, and sends it at pre-determined intervals, to the Asset Control Center where it can view a detailed map of your assets, and reports.
